Metrology Laboratory has recently received accreditation
from the American Association for Laboratory
Accreditation (A2LA) and will be listed in the A2LA
Directory and Newsletters. Edmunds' Sub-Millionths
Metrology Lab is an accredited source for specific
calibrations of instruments and equipment including gage
blocks, ring gages, pin gages, master discs, plug gages,
and thread wires. This laboratory meets or exceeds the
requirements of ISO/IEC Guide 25-1990 and its national
equivalent, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-94. Edmunds maintains the
environmentally-controlled sub-millionths lab to offer a
wide range of metrology services to its customers,
including gage repair service; automatic gage block
replacement; calibration down to 0.0000001 inch;
certification directly traceable to NIST; ISO required
inventory and recall tracking; and convenient on-site
services. Edmunds can accommodate gage sizes measuring
up to 22 inches ID, and 19 inches OD, in classes up to
XXX.
